Abiah Katherine Barbutti is Born!

Abiah Katherine Barbutti was born on September 20th, 2008 at 2:01 PM PST.
She's 8 lbs even and 21 inches long. Both Mom and Baby very healthy.

Baby Showers

To celebrate Abiah we had two fun baby showers. The most recent was hosted by my good friend, Laurie. The shower was held in Redding, California in early September. The beautiful cake below was decorated by my friend Chris. At the shower we played Predict the Size of Mommy's Belly. Amy guessed perfectly. Below on the right is Bailey, who made a rather modest guess.

The first shower I had was in Grand Haven, Michigan. It was hosted by my cousin Mandy. Below are the diaper cake and the baby sock bouquet- aren't they fun?
Below are some more pictures of that shower. The Johnson women hail in the upper left corner, and the photo in the upper right corner is Kelly and I during the gift opening time. On the bottom right are me and my friend Meredith. The last picture includes the other guests.

Both showers were fun and enjoyable. It was great having everyone celebrate baby Abiah. A big thanks to all of you who came and showered us with your blessings!

Little Abiah is the first lucky grandchild on both sides of the family. Below are Grandpa & Grandma Johnson from Grand Haven, Michigan.

The following are Aunt Sarah, Aunt Rachel, Mommy, and Aunt Kelly. Below Uncle Herb is pictured.

15 days left...

Only 15 more days and we will have a fabulous little Barbutti in our midst. Needless to say, we are incredibly excited.

The doctor says everything is right on track. The baby is in the right position and her head is even engaged. It's just a matter of time now.

We'll keep you posted with any other news we hear.
